- Multi-Spec Inventory Requirement: This table demonstrates why distributors must stock multiple SKUs. Bolt patterns vary widely: 6x139.7 (Toyota, Ford Ranger, Isuzu, GWM), 6x114.3 (Nissan Navara, Frontier), 6x130 (Maxus), 6x135 (Ford F-150), 5x127 (Jeep Gladiator), 6x120 (Chevrolet Colorado). Thread pitches also differ (M12x1.25, M12x1.5, M14x1.5).
- Center Bore (CB) Precision: For a true hub-centric fit, the spacer's inner bore must match the vehicle's hub diameter exactly. If using a universal spacer with a larger bore, hub-centric rings are mandatory to prevent high-speed vibrations.
- Generation Differences: Note the CB change on Isuzu D-MAX from Gen 2 (108.0 mm) to Gen 3 (100.5 mm). A spacer designed for Gen 2 will not be perfectly hub-centric on a Gen 3 without an adapter ring.
- Thickness & Clearance: For spacers over 25mm (approx. 1 inch), extended wheel studs or bolt-on adapter designs (like the EF36/EF38) are required. Customers must also verify local laws regarding wheel track widening and tire poke beyond fenders.
- New Energy Pickups (BYD Shark 6, Changan Hunter): These models have different chassis layouts and battery pack placements compared to traditional ICE pickups. Tekmodi’s mounting brackets for these models are specifically designed to avoid interference with high-voltage battery components and factory underbody shielding.
