- Bed Floor Length Is the Primary Constraint: The drawer system must fit between the bulkhead and the closed tailgate. For models with multiple bed lengths (e.g., F-150 5.5 ft vs 6.5 ft, Tacoma Short vs Long, King Kong Cannon Standard vs Long), a separate SKU is required for each bed length.
- Width Between Wheelhouses Must Be Verified: The dual drawer system's external width must clear the wheel-well intrusions. Full-size trucks (F-150, Silverado) typically offer 50+ inches of width between wheelhouses, while mid-size trucks (Tacoma, Hilux) are narrower. The Tekmodi modular design allows drawer width customization to match specific bed widths.
- Tailgate Clearance & Bed Floor Flatness: Some trucks have a raised bed floor at the tailgate end (e.g., drop-in bed liner humps) or a slight slope. The drawer system's base must sit flush on the bare bed floor or be mounted with spacer kits.
